Tsecond Inc.

CRN highlights Tsecond as one of the 10 hottest data storage startups of 2021 for the launch of its BRYCK portable and rugged petabyte-scale data migration and storage device.

CRN is highlighting 10 data storage startups that made headlines in the last year with the unveiling of their first storage products aimed at improving data storage, data protection and/or data migration, whether on-premises, in the cloud, or some hybrid combination.

Tsecond was named one of CRN’s 10 hottest data storage startups of 2021 following the launch of its first product, BRYCK—a portable, rugged, petabyte-scale data storage and migration device designed for mission-critical environments. Founded by CEO and co-founder Sahil Chawla, the San Jose, California–based company focuses on technology for capturing, processing, moving and storing massive volumes of data across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments. Released in October, BRYCK delivers high-speed storage and recovery at capacities ranging from 128 TB to 1 petabyte, enabling rapid data movement in environments where performance, reliability and durability are essential. Tsecond has indicated that future versions of BRYCK will include smaller form factors, higher-capacity models and configurations optimized for specific workloads such as machine learning, analytics and edge deployments
