Finance Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations while also contributing to strategic financial planning and investor reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in startups that have raised external funding and should be capable of handling funding utilization, compliance and financial modeling to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• •Manage daily accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• •Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings).
• •Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and external consultants.
• •Prepare payroll, vendor payments and expense management.
• •Maintain accurate financial records and support management reporting.
• •Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards and financial reports for leadership review.
• •Develop budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• •Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.
• •Support cost optimization and resource allocation decisions.
• •Assist in preparing financial models, pitch decks and investor presentations.
• •Maintain investor reporting packs and assist during due diligence processes.
• •Implement financial processes and controls suited to a scaling startup environment.
• •Track and report fund utilization and burn rate to management and investors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• •Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• •Experience: 3–5 years of finance experience, preferably in startups or high-growth tech companies.
• •Proven experience in fundraising support, investor reporting and financial modeling.
• •Strong knowledge of Indian compliance and global reporting standards.
• •Hands-on expertise with accounting software, ERP systems and Excel financial modeling.
• •Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• •Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and act as a strategic partner to leadership.
