Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Operation Specialist based in Texas or Midwest to manage US domestic and international logistics operations for Tsecond hardware products. This role requires experience with US customs regulations, international freight, hardware shipments and coordination with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics for US, India and EU shipments (inbound & outbound).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, customs brokers and warehouse partners.
  • Prepare and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, ECCN, MSDS and compliance certificates.
  • Oversee customs clearance and ensure compliance with US export regulations (EAR, BIS, ITAR-related coordination where applicable).
  • Manage EU shipping flows, re-export documentation and cross-border logistics rules.
  • Track shipments end-to-end and provide timely updates to internal teams.
  • Maintain inventory records for US-based warehouses and coordinate stock movements.
  • Support procurement and operations teams with vendor communication and logistics planning.
  • Work closely with finance for landed cost calculations, duty assessments and logistics billing.
  • Maintain accurate shipping logs, compliance documents and warehouse reports.
  • Troubleshoot shipment delays, customs queries, exceptions and resolve escalations.
  • Support demo units, RMA/returns and customer deployment logistics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in logistics, global supply chain, international shipping, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of US customs regulations, duties, export restrictions and 3rd country logistics.
  • Familiarity with HTS classification, ECCN, EAR guidelines, Incoterms and regulatory paperwork.
  • Experience with DHL, UPS, DB Schenker, Maersk, etc.
  • Strong coordination, documentation and shipment tracking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience handling logistics for electronic hardware, servers, or high-value equipment.
  • Knowledge of government/defense shipping requirements (preferred).
  • Experience handling hazardous shipments, lithium batteries, or sensitive equipment.
  • Prior experience in a US startup or fast-paced tech environment.
