PCB Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating complex electrical schematics into optimized PCB layouts for high-speed, high-density electronic systems. You will collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical and manufacturing teams to develop reliable and manufacturable printed circuit boards for Tsecond's cutting-edge data and AI hardware products.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design and develop multi-layer, high-speed PCBs for storage, server and AI systems.
• •Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) compliance.
• •Generate and validate schematics, footprints and PCB libraries according to design standards.
• •Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
• •Optimize PCB layouts for thermal, EMI/EMC and mechanical constraints.
• •Create and manage design documentation, including Gerber files, assembly drawings and fabrication notes.
• •Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
• •Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers for prototype builds and fabrication support.
• •Stay updated on new PCB materials, design techniques and industry standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• •Proven experience in PCB design and layout for complex electronic systems (preferably in data storage, embedded, or AI hardware).
• •Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
• •Hands-on expertise with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, or similar EDA tools.
• •Strong understanding of high-speed design principles, impedance control and signal routing.
• •Knowledge of thermal management, grounding and shielding techniques for EMI/EMC compliance.
• •Familiarity with HDI, flex and rigid-flex board design.
• •Proficient in creating fabrication (FAB) and assembly (ASM) documentation.
• •Experience with schematic capture, component library management and BOM control.
• •Excellent understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and materials.
• •Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• •5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design and layout.
• •Exposure to server, data center, or embedded hardware product development.
• •Experience in simulation and analysis tools (e.g., HyperLynx, Ansys Slwave, etc.) is a plus.
• •Understanding of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-6012).
